MOTION FRAMES · Sc. 04 Mint opens at launch

Crew from the block.

1,440 pixel crew members, one per frame of a 60-second film (24 fps x 60 s). Your mint order sets your frame number (the 24 keyframes are held back). Each crew member is generated from the Solana block its mint lands in, so nobody picks the art: not the team, not the minter.

Paid in $MOTION to the public burn wallet (token2022Payment guard: the candy guard cannot burn a Token-2022 token inside the mint). The amount is grossed up for the 3% token tax, so exactly 50,000 $MOTION reach the burn wallet and the public burn keeper burns them; the tax is withheld for holders. Once the mint is live this panel reads the amounts from the chain, and every burn is listed on the Ledger with the amount read from chain.

03 · Your crew member
How the art is chosenSeed = your block

Nobody picks the art.

Your crew member is generated from the block your mint lands in — nobody picks the art, not even us.

  1. 01 · MintYour transaction lands in a block.

50,000 $MOTION per frame · burned. You sign before that block exists, so you cannot steer what it will hash to.

  2. 02 · FinalityThe block is finalized.

The reveal keeper waits for finalized commitment, then reads that block’s hash. Until then your crew member shows the film-leader countdown.

  3. 03 · Seedsha256 → traits → pixels.

The engine hashes the engine version, your asset address, the slot, the blockhash and a reroll count. The hash picks every trait and draws the 32 × 32 crew member.

  4. 04 · RevealWritten to your asset.

The still, the loop and the metadata go to Irys, and the keeper points your asset at them, minutes after mint (keeper cadence). Anyone can re-check it below.

The formula, the rules, the engine
sha256("MOTION-FRAMES-PFP-v1|" + asset address + "|" + slot + "|" + blockhash of that slot + "|" + reroll)
Why the blockhash
The minter signs before the block exists, so they cannot grind for rare traits by re-signing. The keeper reads it at finalized commitment only, so a block that could still be dropped never seeds a crew member.
Slot
The slot your mint transaction landed in. The asset address is the new account your wallet signed for in that transaction.
Unique crew
If a revealed combination already exists, reroll = reroll + 1 until unique; the reroll count is written to the metadata so anyone can verify. The 24 keyframe combinations are reserved from the start.
Frame number
Your mint order. The 24 keyframes (#0001, #0061 … #1381) are held back, so the n-th mint gets the n-th frame that is not a keyframe.
In the metadata
Seed, Seed Slot, Seed Blockhash, Mint Tx and Reroll, next to every trait and the engine version.

Check the block, not us.

Paste a MOTION FRAMES asset address. The page reads the asset, recomputes the seed from its block, redraws it with the engine and compares traits and pixels.

Verification opens when the collection is live: the page reads assets through the site’s RPC relay, which starts serving then. Until then the Seed lab shows the engine at work.

Each trait is rolled from the seed. Headwear, props and outfits follow your Role’s kit, eyes follow headwear, backgrounds follow film stock. The shares are exact expectations from the tables, not a count of minted crew.

What you get. What you don’t.

    Standard
Metaplex Core + Core Candy Machine. Each crew member is one Core asset in the collection, with its name and metadata URI on-chain and its traits in the JSON.
    Supply
1,440 frames, including 24 keyframes. 1,416 are in the public mint; the 24 keyframes are held back and their allocation is not decided yet.
    Price
    50,000 $MOTION per frame · burned
    Mint window
24 hours, from the start time. The machine closes when the window ends.
    Reveal
Every frame mints with the same film-leader placeholder (candy machine hidden settings). The reveal keeper writes each crew member’s art and name minutes after mint (keeper cadence), once its block is finalized.
    Unminted frames
    Decided at launch
    Media
A 1024 px PNG still and a 512 px GIF loop per crew member, drawn by the engine from its seed. Only minted crew are rendered and stored.
    Storage
    Irys (planned)
    Royalties
7.7% (770 bps) of secondary sales to the royalty wallet, recorded in the collection’s Royalties plugin · Wallet set before mint
    Royalty enforcement
Enforced on-chain with an allowlist: wallet-to-wallet transfers, Magic Eden and Tensor. OpenSea sales that settle wallet to wallet pass through the wallet entry; OpenSea’s own program is added once it can be verified. Metaplex Core checks the list on every transfer: the program that owns the account signing the transfer and the program that owns the receiving account must both be on it. It limits which programs can take custody of a frame; it does not identify the marketplace, so it cannot make every sale pay the 7.7%. Minting and the reveal are not affected. Program ids after the devnet rehearsal
    Holder benefits
None. A crew member gives no share of the $MOTION transfer tax, no $MOTION and no Studio credit. It is a frame of the film.
